ROAS is not the whole story. Just the hook. To truly understand the impact, we built a program for this air purifier brand that looked at bid competition and product price points. Once we honed in on off-Amazon traffic sources, to beat competition on sponsored ad’s bid, we were able to unlock net new traffic that converts higher than Amazon sponsored ad’s traffic.

We prepared an air quality and purifier brand for massive growth. Relying on seasonal trends is one thing, but being nimble to scale with consumer interest takes skill. With unprecedented levels of concern over air quality from urbanization and forest fires, we were able to connect consumers to best in class products to help them stay healthy.
Understanding ACOS
ACOS (Average Cost of Sale) is the metric used to to measure Amazon PPC (Pay Per Click) advertising campaigns. It compares the amount spent on PPC campaigns to the amount earned, and it helps determine if your brand generated campaigns that were cost-efficient.
Understanding ROAS
ROAS (Return on Ad Spend) is the marketing metric used to measure a specific ad campaign and how it has impacted revenue (GMV). Tracking ROAS can inform whether digital marketing campaigns are working effectively or if there is room for optimization.
Higher Bids and Seasonality
We recognized that there were quite drastic seasonal swings for when customers shopped for air purifiers. We leverage this to ensure that we balanced spend and content AHEAD of these windows to maximize search rank and conversion rates.

Resulting ACOS (30 Days)
This execution was timed with seasonal traffic trends. We got this brand placed ahead of allergy season, and there positioning was secured when untimely wildfires also drove increased consumer interest. This allowed us to adjust spending to profitable margins, causing a decrease in this company's ACOS.
Resulting ROAS (30 Days)
With ACOS decreasing and an increase in organic ranking, this brand was opened up to serving a greater share of new customers. As a result of this shift, the ROAS began to increase, leading this brand to a large jump in revenue.
Increased Revenue (GMV)
Over a 30-day period, we saw an increase of 200,000 new sessions across the MaverickX ecosystem, between Google Ads Publisher Content. This increase resulted in a total GMV of over $1M in just 30 days.
Increased Brand Bonus
We were able to help this company pull in a 6-Figure brand bonus by leveraging Amazon Attribution. The brand bonus is 10% of the referral fee each time a customer clicks on Ads that are OUTSIDE of Amazon.
